the detroit news received a tip that there was the body of a man frozen in ice of an elevator shaft of a detroit public school's warehouse...and the tip was right on. there are estimates that the body has been there for several months. the body has been removed (using a saw to get through the ice) and it has not been identified.LINK to article on MSNBC
UPDATE: The man has been identified as 56-year-old Johnnie Redding of River Rouge. He was last seen by his family in September when he was going out to celebrate his birthday. LINK
